LOCATION
Messonghi is a small village nestled on the East coast of Corfu, situated an hour South of Corfu town. Due to its prime position away from the main coastal road it has maintained it’s authentic, relaxed, Greek atmosphere, whilst retaining great transport links to the rest of the island. The majority of facilities are within 100 meters of the beach. There are plenty of restaurants, tavernas, bars and shops to suit every taste. Amenities in the village include a cash point and public telephones. Mobile phone reception is generally good and there is a regular bus service. The beach in Messonghi is sandy, with uninterrupted views of mainland Greece to the east and south and Albania to the north. The water is normally calm and deepens gradually. International Corfu Airport is at a distance of 20 km from Messonghi. The property is approximately a 5 min walk from Messonghi Beach.
